Long Strange Night formed on December 31st, 2014 when Tommy Cox and Eric Hollandsworth asked Doug White and William Newman to join them for a set of Grateful Dead music. The set was so much fun to put together that the group decided to form a band playing Beatles and Grateful Dead covers. In June of 2015, Chris Schmitt joined the band and added keyboards and sax to the spectrum of sound.
Shortly thereafter, the band decided to gravitate towards writing original music. LSN is constantly growing their catalog of original songs much to the delight of their fan base. Each member of the group contributes to the songwriting process and the band has accumulated material showcasing each member's unique writing style.
LSN continues in the pursuit of creating their own material and also innovating the music of The Grateful Dead and Beatles as well as a few other popular 60's and 70's era bands.
